I kept looking for her.

I used to imagine there was a woman somewhere out in the country who knew things. She knew which foods could help, how to make them taste good, and how to care for a body when life got complicated.

Eventually, I realized I had become her.

The Juicie Kitchen is the place I wish I'd had then. It is where food, healing, and real life meet.
